Fern Capital Partners was founded by Kasper Harboe and Anders Heegaard – lifelong friends and managing partners.
We built our careers at leading investment firms in London, Singapore, and Copenhagen before joining forces to pursue our dream: to create the kind of focused investment partnership we would want to invest in ourselves.
With a shared philosophy rooted in long-term ownership of a few outstanding businesses, we bring decades of experience and a consistent, disciplined, research-driven approach that has delivered strong results.
We have committed all of our own disposable capital to the partnership and remain fully aligned with our partners for the long term.

We focus on a small number of high-quality European companies with durable competitive advantages, attractive economics, meaningful opportunities to grow, and solid balance sheets, led by owner-minded stewards.
We invest only when we have a deep understanding of the business and the opportunity to buy below intrinsic value.
Our definition of risk is permanent loss of capital, not short-term market volatility. On the contrary, we view volatility as an opportunity to invest in outstanding businesses at attractive valuations.

Board
Fern Capital Partners is overseen by a professional board comprising Hans-Ole Jochumsen (Chairman), Christian Sagild, and Steffen Heegaard. Collectively, they have served in executive and non-executive roles at leading companies known for strong market positions and consistent value creation for shareholders.
Each board member brings extensive experience from the financial sector, having held senior leadership and board positions at prominent financial institutions in Denmark, across Europe, and in the United States.
Anders and Kasper have followed these companies closely throughout their careers and have previously engaged with the board members in various professional contexts.
